Illustrated with 39 full-page photographic plates, most in color. Signed on the limitation page by Kai-Uwe Gundlach. "Edo" (the original name of Tokyo) is stamped in blind on the front cover and a Kanji title in old Edo style has been added by well-known calligrapher Rie Wada who used changing mixtures of natural pigments so that each of the 500 copies is now unique.
